Three brands. One philosophy: bring objects into Canadian homes that earn their place on the counter, in the cupboard, on the wall. Trois marques.
We don't carry everything. We carry what we'd put in our own kitchens, what we'd hang in our own homes, what we'd use to light our own rooms. Curation isn't a marketing word — it's how we decide what's worth our name on the box.
The kitchen, considered. La cuisine, repensée.
Knives, cookware, and tabletop pieces built for daily use and a long life. Materials chosen for what they become with time, not what they look like in the box.
Light, made simple. L'éclairage, simplifié.
LED solutions and electrical essentials for residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Engineered for the contractor; designed not to ask for your attention.
Rooms, brighter. Des pièces, illuminées.
Decorative lighting designed to complete a space, not announce itself. Pendants, sconces, and table pieces with restraint as the brief.
JS Gourmet's flagship — six razor-sharp 30CR13 blades, hand-finished wood handles, and a bamboo box built to live on the counter. Not a holiday gift that disappears into a cupboard.
A starting point for anyone setting a table they expect to keep using.
Jessar Industries was founded in 1996 to do one thing well: bring the right housewares to the right Canadian retailers, and stand behind every box that goes out the door.
We curate three house brands — JS Gourmet for the kitchen, Xtricity for light and power, and Jessar Lighting for the rooms in between — and a tightly-edited catalogue of partner products that meet the same bar.
Independent retailers are the centre of our business. So is the principle that what we sell, we'd buy.
Jessar's place in Canadian editorial coverage — built one well-told piece at a time.
We sell exclusively through independent Canadian retailers. Use the locator to find the closest store carrying the brand or product you're after.
Independent retailers are the centre of our business. Apply to carry our house brands and partner catalogue — we'll respond within one business day.
Same pattern as the PDP — visual continuity across the site. Sticky main nav at top:0; section nav (PDP-only) attaches at top:64px.
Magazine-cover treatment: warm-panel image left, oversized Cormorant statement right. Single primary CTA + one quiet secondary link. Deliberately not a slider, not a carousel — restraint is the position.
The Patek/Hermès move: declare what you stand for in 60 words, then move on. Sets brand position before showing any product. No image — words alone.
Three vertical panels — JS Gourmet (sage), Xtricity (dusty blue), Jessar Lighting (terra). Each gets identity treatment: colour accent, tagline, signature product. Treats the portfolio as a curated trio, not a logo wall.
One editorial moment, rotating. Inaugural feature: JS Gourmet steak knife set — already photographed, vocabulary continuity with the PDP. Big serif, narrative voice, anchor product card at the bottom.
Long-form narrative on the company — family-run, Canada-based, retailer-first. Asymmetric two-column: oversized statement left, prose right. Signed off as "The Jessar family" — humanises the brand.
Hairline grid of four numbers. Framed as restraint: "Three brands. ~1,200 SKUs." Not "we have 5,000+ products!" Provinces and years tagged with placeholder values for client confirmation.
Aspirational. Jessar doesn't have press placements yet — this is a stated goal. Section is built as production-ready so when real placements land, they drop in. Tag underneath signals current state honestly.
Consumer fork (Find a Retailer) tagged "DECISION PENDING" — client hasn't confirmed retailer locator yet. Trade fork (Become a Dealer) is locked in. Cleanly side-by-side; either side can be removed without rework.
Standard four-column. Bilingual everywhere, "Made in Canada" tag, brand links route to sub-brand pages.
