Collections and pages
Collections and Shelf TagsHow products end up in the right places on the website. Collections fill themselves from product type, vendor and shelf tag — nothing is added by hand.Shelf Tag ReferenceEvery shelf tag on the store, the collection it fills, and the kind of product it belongs to.Updating a Collection PageA collection's own banner, copy, tiles and promotion card — everything set on the collection rather than on a product.Homepage and BannersHow to change the homepage — the images, the words, the French versions, and the settings to leave alone.
Working at scale
How the site works
The Jessar site is assembled from the data on each product and collection. Fill a field and its block appears on the page; leave it blank and the block is skipped — no error, the page is just shorter. That is why these guides spend so much time on which field feeds what, and why previewing before publishing matters.
